A regional documentary storytelling initiative highlighting how conservation finance supports environmental protection, community development, and sustainable futures.
Conservation Finance in the Caribbean
Produced for the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund (CBF), the project set out to tell the story of conservation finance across the region through authentic, people-centred storytelling, connecting environmental protection and community development beyond what statistics alone can show.
The work became a regional campaign of seven documentary short films, exploring the Conservation Finance Program and a National Conservation Trust Fund in a different island nation.
At the heart of each film were the people closest to the work. Their voices made complex ideas around conservation and finance more accessible and human, while highlighting the role communities play in caring for their environments. Together, the stories showed how long-term investment can support both people and the places they call home.
